What is happening now?
The proposals are currently awaiting pre application advice from WODC. Advice has already been received from OCC Highways. The applicant is in the process of engaging with other consultees at the time that this exhibition is taking place.
We are keen to hear your thoughts on the proposals before getting the planning application ready for submission in the coming months. In particular we would appreciate your views on the following matters:
- The type of housing that should be provided?
- Would you prefer to see a traditional or contemporary form of development, or a mixture?
- Are there any recent housing developments in the wider area that you think would be good to take inspiration from?
- What sustainable energy and construction initiatives should we be looking at?
